Until now, we had never tried this latest craze across America. Well we finally did and OMG!!!
These lovely gems are known by a very popular name that I believe is trademarked. However, if you can absolutely get them here locally by another name and that is “Doissant” which is a cross between a doughnut and a croissant. The place that we found them at is on Madison Avenue in Sacramento California and it’s called Sweet Dozen. It’s a very nice little shop that was remodeled and ready to provide you with these delicious treats. By far, my family’s favorite was the Maple and Bacon. All 4 that we tried in the picture above were really good but that bacon doissant was by far the best and probably ranks in my top 5 delicious treats of all time, maybe higher! Do yourself a favor and get over there to Sweet Dozen Map and get yourself a few for everyone to try. Take it from me, the California Mortgage Hero, these are very much worth the hype.
